System requirements

- minimum screen resolution 980*690, recommended 1310*810 and higher
- Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1,  Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 or higher should be installed. It is included in Windows Update. To install it manually: (download...)
- a steady Internet connection to server (no less than 1Mb/s)

Install

You need to have Administrator privileges to install! During the installation process your Windows Firewall rules will be updated to give access to internet for the application. Also, there will be created application icons in your desktop and startup menu.

Possible errors

If you have difficulties running the game you may need to: check system requirements check your internet connection speed and quality, ask other players for advices, check if there is a message or file with error (in folders Exception and VkException), following your error message find solution in text below.

1. Client or Installer doesn’t run and closes with unknown error
   You need to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 and run the program as administrator (left click – Run as administrator).
2. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 doesn’t install
   Your system doesn’t support current version. Programm doesn’t work on Windows XP, and for windows 7 you need to install SP1 or run windows update service.
3. "Could not find file C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Agot2Online\quotes.en.text"
   Do not run the application via the start menu. Use the desktop shortcut or launch from the application folder.
4. Connection errors like "Couldn't connect to server" and such
   Check your internet connection. Check your firewall and Antivirus settings to allow internet connection for following files: Updater.exe, Agot2Client.exe, NotifiClient\NotifiClient.exe, NotifiClient\Updater.exe, check your Proxy Server settings or reset Internet Explorer to defaults.
5. Message after authorization via Facebook or VK
   • "Failed to update your profile: Please contact the developer!", "Невозможно создать временный класс (результат=1). error CS2001: Не удалось найти исходный файл "C:\Windows\TEMP\sawiuo7s.0.cs" error CS2008: Не указаны входные данные"

   Delete file "settings" and try again.
7. Map is not displayed
   Run the game in compatibility mode.

Agreement

To participate in “Game of Thrones” you need to accept user agreement, described in launch game window.

Registration

To register, you must enter your email address and set a password.

Attention! the email address is a unique identifier of the user. If you specify an email address that is not available on the server, a new account will be created with the password you specified.

Then carefully read the server message and follow its instructions! Possible errors:

1. Email is not set - set email, password and click login.
2. Password is not set - set email, password (remember it!) and click login.
3. A confirmation link email was send - link to confirm the password sent to your email. Go to the email and click on the link. Back to the authorization window set email, password and click login. If no letter in the email, look spam, check if the box is full, check the correctness of the entered email address!
4. E-mail is not correct - look at the correctness of the entered email. Repeat login.
5. Wrong password - set password you entered in first time! If you do not remember password but email address is set click on the reset password button, go to the mail and click on the link. Reset the Password for the email confirmed. Repeat login. If you've tried everything write to a game creator PM.
6. Email not send - the link is not sent from the server for technical reasons. Repeat after specified timeout end, enter the password and try again.
7. Denied! The link is not valid (when you click to the link) - Apparently you're confusing emails with references. Every time a new email is sent to you, the key from the old email is cancelled. Delete all emails and try again.
   

ALWAYS before clicking on the login button make sure that the EMAIL AND PASSWORD are filled in!

Authorization

The client stores the unique ID of your PC associated with your account and authorizes you automatically without requiring any actions from the user. If you change the unique ID of your PC, you will need to re-log in. To do this, you will need to enter your email address and the previously set password. If you forgot your password, you can reset it, and a link to confirm your actions will be sent to the email address you specified.
